Job Description for Technical Writer:

The Technical Writer will be responsible for transforming content into a publication-ready format. The role includes:

1. Formatting the text, adding tool tips, and creating tabular depictions, charts, and graphs.
2. Coordinating layout, adding copywriting requirements, and organizing manuals and guides.
3. Document prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, proofreading, and preparing manuals/guides/content for publication.
4. Creating Technical Placemats with details regarding manuals/guides.

Required Experience & Skills:

1. Outstanding written and oral communication skills; capable of preparing written communication that conveys information clearly and effectively.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in understanding user requirements and implementing them in documentation and videos.
3. Experience with a range of visual information design techniques.
4. Ability to create engaging and effective instructional training videos.
5. Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts and procedures.
6. Ability to recommend or implement improvements in documents.
7. Ability to operate independently and as part of a larger team, developing working relationships with other internal groups to meet objectives.
8. Organized, professional, motivated, and adept at making quick decisions.
9. Demonstrated ability in mastering a complex publishing system.
