We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our dynamic Business and System Analysis team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex IT concepts into clear, concise, and engaging documentation for our software applications and financial products, as well as for creating internal documentation. This role involves detailing Paysera's products for enhancement and re-engineering, crafting user-friendly manuals with the aid of diagrams, charts, and illustrations. The Technical Writer should excel at documenting APIs using the OpenAPI Specification and be adept at utilising AI tools to optimise workflow and online help resources, enabling our users to fully leverage our technology solutions. The successful candidate will ensure our technical documentation is accurate, accessible, and up to date. This role also requires close collaboration with Business and System Analysts, Delivery Managers, developers, and subject matter experts to produce user manuals, API documentation, and other essential materials. Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting documentation standards and creating user and API documentation;
  • Collaborating with teams to gather specifications, document products, and ensure clarity and accessibility;
  • Structuring content and creating visual aids like diagrams, charts, and illustrations to simplify complex concepts;
  • Managing the API specification process and maintaining up-to-date knowledge bases;
  • Providing training to internal teams on documentation best practices and tracking engagement metrics;
  • Contributing to Agile processes, mentoring peers, and staying current with industry trends;
  • Performing routine tasks using AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to enhance efficiency and productivity.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Advanced proficiency in English (C1+ writing, B2+ speaking);
  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing within IT (preferably fintech);
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts, systems, and software documentation;
  • Proven experience in API documentation, particularly with OpenAPI Specification;
  • Proficiency in Atlassian Suite, Google Workspace, and documentation tools;
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills suited to diverse audiences (developers, QA, project managers, etc.);
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and analytical abilities;
  • Familiarity and experience with AI tools, like ChatGPT, for workflow optimization;
  • Self-driven with technical problem-solving and reverse engineering skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Background in system analysis, requirements engineering, or financial products;
  • Familiarity with style guides and modeling notations (e.g., BPMN, UML);
  • Experience with content management systems, knowledge bases, or development background (PHP/QA).
