Job Description

Position: Technical Writer

Duration: 2 Months (extendable)

Only Citizens and GC can apply.

The role requires a storm plan to be submitted each year. The current plan is being reformatted and updated. We are looking for an individual to assist with the development of the plan, working off standard templates that have already been created.

The candidate will be responsible for updating 8 or 9 areas, rewriting sections of the storm plan, interviewing stakeholders to obtain exact steps for each section, creating a checklist, and collaborating with the leads for each area.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in technical writing.
2. Background in Process Improvement or Process Documentation.
3. Experience with a Utility or Emergency Preparedness is a bonus.

Possibility for extension to the end of Jan 2016. Starting with phone screening and following up with face-to-face interviews.
