Job Description:
STC is a science and engineering research and services support company with proven expertise and experience spanning research, development, test, and evaluation in areas including aerospace engineering, earth and atmospheric sciences, chemical and biological defense, military systems and technology, and software development.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical writing support to prepare, review and edit articles, technical reports, manuscripts, annual reports, and special studies.
- Capture all activities during each reporting period and prepare input and correspondence for Monthly Status Reports.
- Deliver all documents and reports within schedule.
- Prepare and review meeting minutes, training material, and other documents.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, chemistry, biology, or related field. An associate’s degree will be considered with added experience.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a DoD Secret Clearance.
- 9+ years’ experience in scientific research, education, and publishing.
- 5 years’ experience in content-editing chemical and biological defense research documents e.g., reports and journal articles.
- Expertise with the American Chemical Society (ACS) style guide.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete work within schedule.
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or minor in chemistry or biology.
