SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist – Proposal Creation & Writing reports to the Director of Business Development and will be responsible for producing high-quality proposals, ensuring the company effectively communicates its value propositions to potential clients and support a winning business development culture in the architectural/engineering/construction (A/E/C) and transit market research industry. This role is critical to supporting Dikita Enterprises’ business growth through compelling and strategic proposals for public and private sector clients in engineering, construction management, and transit/transportation. In addition to proposal production and management, the professional will be responsible for branding, social media, and the company website.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proposal Production

Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, produce, and manage the proposal (RFP & RFQ) processes.

  • Proposal Management: Coordinate the entire proposal process, from planning, writing, and reviewing to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation, writing, and editing of proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Writing and Editing: Draft, edit, and proofread content for technical accuracy, clarity, and style consistency across all proposals, case studies, and marketing materials.
  • Graphic and Visual Support: Collaborate with graphic designers to integrate visuals, charts, and infographics into proposals to enhance their impact.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze proposal success rates and outcomes to continuously improve proposal strategies and content.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, clients, and competitors to inform proposal strategy and ensure Dikita is well-positioned in the marketplace.
  • Content Strategy: Develop a strategic approach to crafting compelling narratives for proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that reflect Dikita’s services and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with business development, engineering, and technical teams to gather relevant content, project information, and qualifications for proposals.
  • Brand Messaging: Ensure all written communication is aligned with Dikita Enterprises’ brand voice, values, and messaging standards.
  • Branding and Marketing Material:
    • Create professional marketing materials including brochures, website content, company profile, company project descriptions, and employee resumes for proposals.
    • Maintain marketing database of proposals and collateral material.
    • Develop manage, and maintain website content, including updates on project information, community involvement, and company highlights.
    • Manage the firm’s employer brand profiles on LinkedIn, and other appropriate social channels.
    • Capture and analyze key social media metrics.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Business Development:
    • Assist in monitoring various electronic website sources to gather and disseminate information about upcoming opportunities.
    • Assist in representing the company by attending meetings and events with potential and existing clients and partners.
    • Maintain the CRM system.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in proposal writing, government writing, marketing, or business development in engineering, architecture, or construction industries.
  • Experience in proposal writing for government contracts and knowledge of federal and state RFP requirements.

Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with proposal management software and CRM systems.
  • Intermediate/Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to deliver error-free and persuasive content.

Preference will be given to residents of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, however, remote opportunities are open for negotiation if the candidate meets the qualifications.

  • COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Depending on experience and qualifications between $80,000 and $100,000.
