Role: Technology Lead - Java UI
Duration: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Northbrook, IL

Qualifications Basic

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
2. At least 4 years of experience with Java UI technologies.

Preferred

1. At least 6 years technology development and implementation experience.
2. Knowledge of Agile methodologies (especially Agile XP), including paired programming and test-driven development.
3. At least 6 years of experience in Java, JEE skills.
4. At least 4 years of experience in Object-oriented JavaScript with one of AngularJS or ReactJS.
5. Familiarity with tools like Intellij-IDE, Github, Spring Framework, MongoDB, Jenkins, Docker Toolbox, NodeJS.
6. At least 4 years of experience in Extreme programming (for example, pair programming and test-driven development).
7. At least 4 years of experience in the software development life cycle.
8. Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
9. Experience in technical skills and aptitude needed to meet/exceed delivery velocity expectations as a full stack developer.
10. Experience in the Insurance domain.
11. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
