Overview

BigBear.ai is looking for a Principal Prototype UI Developer to design, develop, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and document web services and user interfaces (UIs) for operation in a Kubernetes environment. The role also involves developing integrations and interfaces between the web services and other customer systems.

This position requires on-site work and candidates must report to the office daily (no remote flexibility).

What you will do

  1. Design, develop, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and document web services and user interfaces (UIs) for operation in a Kubernetes environment.
  2. Develop integrations and interfaces between web services and other customer systems.
  3. Respond to customer inquiries and support the use of web services and user interfaces.
  4. Design, develop, implement, test, deploy, and document software that extracts, transforms, and loads data into databases such as Elasticsearch.
  5. Set up Continuous Deployment pipelines in GitLab to automatically build and deploy software.
  6. Provide demonstrations as required.
  7. Create Jira tickets to document tasks performed.
  8. Serve as the team Scrum Master as needed.

What you need to have

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS) or a related field, with at least 11 years of experience (or 6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree).
  2. Candidates must maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  3. Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS, and Angular.
  4. Experience with Elasticsearch and Neo4j.
  5. Familiarity with Kubernetes.

What we'd like you to have

  1. Some knowledge of the GWT Framework.
  2. Basic networking knowledge is also beneficial.
