Web-Mobile UX Designer Job at Scout-ET Inc. in New York

Location: NYC - Local Candidates (PREFERRED) On-Site interview Required

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
2. Understand mobility requirements from the business users and translate them into effective designs optimized for mobile user experience.
3. Design and develop mockups using wireframes and other visual tools.
4. Collaborate effectively with Backend developers and testing teams.
5. Provide guidance to other team members (multiple projects) with regard to UX concepts.

Qualifications:

1. At least five years of experience designing rich and intuitive user experiences (native mobile - iOS, web and hybrid).
2. Sound understanding of web and mobile UI and development standards/guidelines.
3. Strong understanding in a wide array of mobility knowledge areas including UX standards, guidelines, tooling and vocabulary.
4. Highly creative with a good sense of mobile-driven user experience (UX).
5. Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and other visual tools.
6. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent graphic designing tools.

Preferred Skills:

1. Exposure to Cordova and other front-end frameworks like Angular.
2. Experience with .NET/Xamarin development stack.
