The Federal Savings Bank is hiring: Front-End/UX Developer in Chicago

Description

The Federal Savings Bank is looking for an experienced front-end developer with a strong application of best-in-class user experience principles. The developer will be part of a team that is building modules designed to support our next-generation initiatives and transform our origination experience.

Ideal candidates are local to the Chicago area and able to work in our Logan Square headquarters 1-2 days a week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with the Chief Technology Innovation Officer to design and implement web-based applications integrated with our core loan operating system, Encompass
• Work with other stakeholders across the organization to discuss the needs, design, and functionality of a website or interface
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers
• Create prototypes and mockups of websites or applications
• Collaborate with marketing personnel to design graphics and assets suitable for the new application(s)
• Integrate multimedia, including audio and video, into the website
• Monitor website traffic and deliver reports on traffic metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e., Computer Science, Web Development, Software Development, etc.)
• Experience with scripting languages (PHP, Python, Perl, etc.)
• 2+ years of JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience building web apps
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript UI frameworks
• Experience using industry-standard version control systems
