Responsibilities

1. Define interface requirements by collaborating with users and stakeholders.
2. Collect and analyze user behaviors and needs through user research.
3. Design user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that are intuitive and present a clear flow of information.
4. Brand and design UIs, define style guides to ensure consistency in the interface.
5. Collaborate with teammates that may include other designers, project managers, developers, engineers, and product champions.

Qualifications

1. You have a bachelor’s degree in a visual communications discipline (e.g., graphic design, web design, interactive design, etc.) or a systems/human factors engineering discipline, and at least five years of experience.
2. You’ve mastered Photoshop, Illustrator, and Axure (or similar software) to design sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups.
3. You have experience with a prototyping tool such as Axure, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
4. Your design sensibility is refined and purposeful, and the artifacts you create are beautiful and functional.
5. Talking to users and soliciting their feedback is second nature, and you can articulate design concepts to a variety of audiences.
6. You have excellent communication skills, both writing and speaking.
7. Desired: Experience defining, collecting, and assessing metrics.
8. Desired: Experience with Agile development.
9. Desired: Experience with HTML/CSS.
