Job Title: Insurance Agent Property & Casualty Licensed / CSR

Location: Paul Cashman State Farm Insurance, 3433 State St Ste B, Santa Barbara, CA

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $20 - $23/hour, DOE, plus potential for bonuses throughout the year.

Qualifications:

1. Property and Casualty Insurance license (or must be able to obtain)
2. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
3. Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and multitask
4. Works well in a team setting, as well as on your own
5. Must possess critical thinking attributes and detail-oriented skills
6. Must adhere to strong ethics & integrity
7. Insurance experience is preferred, but not necessary
8. Ability to build rapport with customers
9. Bilingual, written and verbal (preferred, but not necessary)
10. Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities:

1. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including telephones, mail processing, banking, and processing payments.
2. Assist other agency team members as needed.
3. Comply with insurance standards and regulations.
4. Attend training sessions and courses to obtain your insurance license.
5. Maintain a professional dress and appearance in the office.
