Are you passionate about creating impactful communication strategies that connect, inspire, and empower employees? As the Head of Internal Communications, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our global workforce with the Company's mission and priorities. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Marketing & Communications, you will lead the Internal Communications function, driving initiatives that foster understanding, alignment, and engagement across the organization.

You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, Human Resources, and cross-functional teams to ensure that employees are connected to the "why" and "how" behind company strategies and decisions. Your efforts will help strengthen alignment with LHW's mission: empowering independent luxury hoteliers to stay independent.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader to blend strategic vision with operational excellence, creating compelling narratives that unify across diverse teams, roles, and geographies and celebrate the collective impact of our work.

Work Model

This is a full-time role based in New York City with a hybrid work model (2 days/week in-office- Wednesday and Thursday) to support collaboration and flexibility.

  • Lead Internal Communications Strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive communications strategy that informs, engages, and inspires employees across all levels and regions.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership: Advise and support the President & CEO and senior leaders in crafting authentic, impactful messages that align with company priorities and resonate across the workforce.
  • Own Employee Town Halls: Strategize, plan, and execute quarterly employee Town Halls and global messaging initiatives, partnering closely with the Senior Leadership.
  • Enhance Employee Engagement: Design innovative events, programs, and communication tools that deepen employees' connection to the business, company culture, and each other.
  • Oversee Communication Channels: Manage and evolve internal communication platforms to ensure timely and effective distribution of key messages.
  • Support HR Communications: Partner with Human Resources to drive employer branding and lifecycle communications that support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and culture-building efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align storytelling across internal and external audiences by partnering with the broader Communications, Hotel Marketing, and other key teams.
  • Measure & Improve: Analyze communication metrics and feedback to assess impact, identify opportunities for improvement, and refine strategies over time.


What You'll Bring

  • Expertise in Internal Communications: 10+ years of experience developing and executing innovative internal communications strategies within a global, fast-paced organization.
  • Exceptional Leadership: Proven ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate with executive leadership, and inspire teams at all levels.
  • Strategic Storytelling: A talent for distilling complex ideas into clear, compelling, and engaging narratives that build trust and drive alignment.
  • Project Management Excellence: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering exceptional results on time and within scope.
  • Change Management Skills: Experience preparing teams for organizational changes, reducing resistance through effective communication and thoughtful engagement.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performance environment where curiosity, collaboration, and accountability are key.
  • Global Perspective: A background working in diverse, international settings and the ability to tailor messaging across geographies and cultures.

Compensation

Expected Salary*: $154,000

Target Incentive bonus: 20%

*Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, location and applicable laws.
