This role is essential for continuing to build our search marketing team at Br8kthru and instrumental as we work to become the best marketing + technology firm in the U.S.

Mission
  • Lead client retention + growth through delivery of Michelin-Star Standards (MSS) in all search-related Client deliverables
  • Develop and lead junior members of the Search Team to promote long-term growth, sustainable hiring, and attraction + retention of top analytical talent
  • Implement processes + workflows that enable progress toward Br8kthru's overall revenue and profitability goals

Critical Accountabilities
  • MSS project execution
  • Timeline + budget alignment


Daily Tasks + Responsibilities

Strategy + Thought-leadership
  • Lead the creation of search marketing strategies + roadmaps for new + existing accounts
    • Assist with comprehensive marketing strategies including paid media, SEO, content, email, social, etc.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for all paid media activities
  • Continually evolve our search marketing approach based on best practices, industry changes, new technology, emerging trends + technology partners
  • Assist in new business pitches


Performance Media Management + Execution
  • Campaign planning, strategy + documentation
  • Campaign management + optimization
    • Manage to CPA, ROAS, CPC or other metrics
    • Lead and guide third party media partners; including programmatic media buying
  • Ongoing Research + Discovery
    • Analyze search interest + explore SEO opportunities
    • Work with Google/Microsoft/etc. on new strategies, products + beta programs
    • Assess search attribution
  • Budget Management
    • Budget Pacing (daily + monthly)
    • Forecasting
  • Client relationship management
    • Work with Client + internal teams to clearly define program objectives, tactics and KPIs
    • Actively participate in Client communication, including client status calls, working sessions, reporting meetings, and ad hoc questions
    • Help establish trust, credibility + grow client relationship


Feed Management, Analysis + Optimization
  • Troubleshooting + support
  • Feed optimization + fixes
  • Monitoring of Merchant Center Item Reports
  • In partnership with feed vendor, generate custom reports


Reporting + Analysis
  • Reporting + planning meetings with the Br8kthru + Client teams
    • Performance analysis, recommendations + next steps
    • Reporting on account KPIs via Google ads, Analytics, Data Studio or other reporting tools or custom reports
  • For new accounts, review + assess analytics + conversion tracking
    • Review source, structure, setup, recording + accuracy
    • Analysis of initial set up including traffic, channel, and behavior data
    • Analysis of reporting such as custom reports and dashboard


Leadership + Professional Development
  • Lead with cross-channel paid search strategy through the discovery, planning, and execution process
  • Effectively collaborate with other team members + advance our collective knowledge
  • Help attract, train + retain new Br8kthru team members
  • Demonstrate clear communication skills through written reports/documents and in-person meetings and presentations
  • Foster a culture of open communication and 360-degree feedback
