Overall Purpose: Oversee and monitor all live events for out of market and out of country sports line up and PPV Events.
Roles and Responsibilities: While monitoring, also responsible for operating automation platforms and collaborating with Telecommunication employees and out of country vendors (production groups) to oversee a broadcast, using various computer applications to configure all live SD and HD signals for any impairments.
What is supported: 1) Develop an understanding in areas of specialization in video broadcast software & hardware systems. Resolve wide ranges of issues in high pressure circumstances at times collaborating with other groups and departments; 2) Troubleshoot problems using data analysis and evaluation of identifiable factors in compression, conditional access, and master control. Must have a general understanding of broadcast signal flow; 3) Understands incident management and escalation workflows to accurately inform a general group and or groups with detailed information of issue; 4) Producing reports that capture data needed for continuous improvement of organization, team, and group. Support areas include quickly troubleshooting, perform rudimentary or intermediate restorative actions, or escalation towards prompt restoral of services. Able to identify issues affecting the health of the broadcast. Requires a growing knowledge of traffic, automation, scheduling, guide, conditional access, process workflows and system interfaces unique to every platform utilized in the broadcast. Must be able to communicate with precise, detailed information to other team members and groups. Develops a strong working relationship with other team members and groups both internal and external in a 24/7 broadcast operation. 1. Basic understanding of broadcast signal flow & incident

2. A growing knowledge of traffic, automation, scheduling,

4. A knowledge of Waveform/Spectrum Analyzer, SDI & IP
delivery of signals as well as RF Broadcast Principals
5. Spanish is desired but not mandatory
