About this position:

LMCU is looking for a Marketing Director, Project Management who will work with the entire marketing staff, and our internal business groups to help organize, manage and schedule numerous campaigns, projects, and tasks. This role will lead, manage, and develop a team of project management professionals. Additionally, the Marketing Director, Project Management will lead production meetings with the marketing and Community Relations teams and the internal business groups to ensure projects are managed and completed as planned and on a timely basis and within budget. This role is responsible for leading the function within LMCU Marketing that connects all other functions and ensure the team is delivering the best value for our business groups and LMCU overall. The Marketing Director, Project Management will also take the lead in meeting with outside vendors, securing cost estimates and ensuring the highest quality standards are achieved (printers and ad specialty items), and ensuring cost estimates match approved budget amounts. This role will have Marketing budget responsibility in the form of reviewing and approving vendor invoices, prior to sending to the Chief Marketing Officer.

What you'll do: Lead the project management role within the Marketing and Community Relations departments. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, using WorkZone and other communication forms to keep marketing staff and internal business groups updated on project status. Work with the Marketing Project Management team to continuously improve the practices, approaches, and efficiencies of the marketing team. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Provide high level input and guidance regarding MindWire including budgeting considerations, identification of new items, plans for phasing out slow moving items, as well as maintaining the integrity of the data base. Collaborate with the Creative and the Account Services Teams to ensure there is a clear understanding of a job's production / scheduling needs. Participate in meetings with business group team leads as needed. Assign responsibilities to the Project Management team as needed. Manage project budgets. Build and strengthen relationships with outside vendors, while staying impartial and objective in the quoting process, always looking out for unique and effective solutions and keeping the best interests of LMCU at the forefront of decision making while getting the best value on vendor supplied projects (ex. printing). Track costs for marketing projects for planning and budgeting purposes. Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer in putting together project calendars for each of the internal business groups annual strategic marketing plans. Hire, coach and mentor other Project Management team members. Assist with numerous corporate marketing projects as assigned by the Chief Marketing Officer. Examples include: annual report, annual birthday and Christmas cards, corporate celebrations, special events, special projects and more. Produce multiple project management reports to monitor and track project activity across the team.

What You'll Bring: You'll like this position if you have... Eight years to 10 years of experience in marketing, project management, or related experience. Previous supervisory experience, preferred. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, advertising, project management, or related field of study. Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management. Proficiency in project management software. Ability to create and manage detailed project schedules. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with managing budgets. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
