Develop and implement a quarterly marketing plan for the community with general guidance from the management team, including competition studies, outreach goals, budget census goals, and methods for achieving these goals. Participate in local community activities, focusing on clergy, medical, legal, financial, and business communities that influence the senior market. Maintain contact with senior centers, Chamber of Commerce, clubs, associations, city/county organizations, media organizations, churches, elder attorneys, trust officers, senior services, local government senior agencies, hospitals, discharge planners, real estate brokers, financial planners, social workers, home health agencies, and other community groups. Perform all job functions to ensure company profitability by meeting all facility activity and marketing budgets and census guidelines. Give tours as needed. Manage the Lead Tracking System by updating daily to promote timely follow-up and accurate marketing statistics. Develop and implement in-house events/functions to generate new traffic into the community. Conduct in-depth interviews with prospective residents to determine qualifications for residence and make referrals as appropriate. Conduct competition studies to determine strengths/weaknesses, census levels, rental rates, range of services, and other relevant factors. Be prepared to discuss the facilities and services of the community during assigned working hours. Develop an action plan for follow-up to inquiries made by prospective residents. Assist in the arrangements for and coordination of move-in for new residents. Maintain accurate reports for census and other records, including weekly census/projection reports and community outreach reports. Manage all collateral marketing materials including handouts, post cards, brochures, etc. Identify overall trends in the marketplace to adjust marketing strategies as needed. You Will Own This If you: Exposure to blood/body fluid not likely. Push, pull, and lift at least 30 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop and/or bend for periods of up to four hours with breaks as provided in the employee handbook. Possess excellent leadership and communication skills, be creative, fun loving, and have a caring disposition towards the elderly. Must also have a current driver’s license, typing and marketing skills, and a neat, professional, courteous manner and appearance. Willing to work shifts assigned, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; problem solving, conflict management, budgeting.
