Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Operations & Marketing Associate at LAGO Asset Management. The role will focus on LAGO’s fund operations and investor marketing/ reporting for the funds’ debt & equity investments across multiple funds. Position works directly with Executive leadership and relevant team members. Work directly with and prepare financial analysis and reporting for executives across LAGO funds Performance measurement, including calculation of IRRs, investment multiples and various time-weighted returns Assist in preparation of regular investor reports and quarterly investment letters Participate in internal projects that support fundraising needs and firmwide marketing Support treasury and liquidity management functions (monitor cash position for funds and assist with forecasting cash requirements) Assist the Operations Manager by understanding/reviewing capacity on the funds’ credit lines as well as borrowing base compliance/covenants Support the overall portfolio valuation process Support the ops team with year-end audit and tax reporting information needs Identify and implement process improvements with regards to efficiency /quality while ensuring that strong internal controls are maintained Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field 1-3 years of relevant experience Loan experience including working with credit funds and/or Business Development Companies (BDC) a plus. Eager to work hard in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment building an exceptional organization. Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firm.
