Job Description: The Senior Radio Engineer will design, implement, and maintain radio systems. Responsibilities include managing FCC and licensing protocols, working with Motorola 700 MHz radios, and maintaining tower, console, and repeater systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain radio systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with FCC protocols, Motorola 700 MHz radios, and both Low and Hi Band radio systems.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Work Locations:

• Work must be performed on-site at all DPSCS locations across the State, with potential authorization for remote work at the discretion of the Contract Monitor.
• Primary work locations include DPSCS Reisterstown Road Plaza Office Center (RPOC) in Baltimore, MD, and Maryland State Police (MSP) in Pikesville, MD.
• Secondary work locations include various DPSCS facilities across the State.
