Job Title: Sr. UI React Developer

Location: Farmington Hills, MI

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for our web applications using React.js and related technologies. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications using React.js and related technologies (e.g., Redux, Next.js, GraphQL).
  2. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
  3. Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate user stories and designs into functional user interfaces.
  4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development.
  7. Contribute to the overall success of the product by delivering high-quality, user-friendly experiences.

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development using React.js.
  2. Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  3. Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
  4. Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Enzyme.
  5. Experience with RESTful APIs.
  6. Experience with version control systems like Git.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  9. A passion for creating user-friendly and engaging interfaces.

Bonus Points:

  1. Experience with Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks.
  2. Experience with GraphQL.
  3. Experience with accessibility best practices.
  4. Experience with design systems.
  5. Contributions to open-source projects.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
