Senior UI/UX Designer

Compoze Labs is seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, user-centered designs that deliver value for our clients. As a Senior Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with clients, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Success in this role requires not only strong design skills but also the ability to communicate effectively—whether presenting concepts to clients, explaining design decisions to developers, or aligning diverse teams around a shared vision. Responsibilities

  1. Partner with clients and internal teams to understand project goals, user needs, and business requirements.
  2. Translate user research insights, client feedback, and strategic objectives into effective design solutions.
  3. Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user-centered design principles.
  4. Present and explain design concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders, clearly articulating your rationale.
  5. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless design implementation, providing clarity on functionality, design intent, and technical feasibility.
  6. Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to promote consistency across projects.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends and best practices, incorporating them into your work.

Skill Sets Required

  1. Proven experience as a UI/UX designer, with a portfolio showcasing strong design work across web and mobile platforms.
  2. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  3. Expertise in user-centered design principles and familiarity with user research methodologies.
  4. Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma).
  5. Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external clients.
  6. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Nice to have:

  1. Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  2. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  3. Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design best practices.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Schedule:

  1. 8 hour shift
