Role Overview: As a Senior UI/UX Developer, you will be instrumental in crafting the visual and interactive elements of our products. You’ll take the lead in designing seamless, intuitive user experiences that engage and delight, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring your ideas to life. Your role will involve driving the design vision across multiple platforms, from web to mobile, ensuring both usability and aesthetic excellence. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers and advocate for best practices, shaping the design culture of our team.

Key Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design Leadership: Lead the creation of user interfaces across various platforms (web, mobile, enterprise), transforming complex business needs into aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly designs.
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems that ensure a unified experience across products and platforms, providing consistency throughout the user journey.
• User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, define personas, and build user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. Continuously refine designs based on feedback and usability testing to ensure they meet user needs.
• Interaction Design: Design interactive elements, animations, and transitions that enhance the user experience, ensuring they align with product performance and functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design work with product requirements, ensuring user-centric principles guide the entire development process.
• Usability Testing & Optimization: Lead usability tests, gather data, and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Ensure designs are optimized for accessibility and performance.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior and mid-level developers, guiding them on design best practices, code implementation, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Front-End Collaboration: Partner with front-end development teams to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented, focusing on responsive, cross-platform functionality.
• Innovation & Trends: Keep abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, applying innovative solutions to enhance the user experience continuously.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of design processes, workflows, and components, ensuring smooth handoffs between teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 15 years of experience as a UI/UX Developer/Designer, with a portfolio showcasing successful, user-centered designs across a variety of platforms.
• Design Tools Expertise: Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision, with strong skills in prototyping and visual design.
• Front-End Development Skills: Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js). Skilled in responsive and adaptive design for both mobile and desktop interfaces.
• UX Research & Testing: Extensive experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to refine and validate designs.
• Design Principles: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and design patterns.
• Design Systems & Consistency: Proven track record of creating or maintaining design systems and style guides to ensure cohesive user experiences across products.
• Interaction Design: Expertise in creating fluid interactions, animations, and microinteractions that enhance engagement and usability.
• Agile Collaboration: Experience working in agile environments, collaborating closely with product managers and developers to integrate design into the product lifecycle.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities to present design ideas and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Leadership Experience: Experience in leading design teams, mentoring junior designers, and nurturing a creative, high-performing culture.
• Mobile App Design: Extensive experience designing mobile-first interfaces with an understanding of iOS and Android guidelines.
• Accessibility Knowledge: Familiarity with WCAG guidelines and designing for accessibility to ensure products are inclusive.
• Data-Driven Design: Ability to use analytics and data insights to inform and optimize design decisions.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in UI/UX design, human-computer interaction, or similar fields.
• Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates your problem-solving abilities and showcases innovative, user-friendly, and visually compelling designs.
