For one of our ongoing projects, we are looking for a SENIOR REACT.JS UI DEVELOPER. The position is based out of Des Moines, IA.
The Senior UI Engineer must have a keen understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and be proficient in crafting interfaces for a positive and cohesive user experience. The primary focus of the selected candidate would be on developing user interface components and implementing and executing using React.js workflows. This critical role will collaborate with stakeholders, users, the build team, and other development partners to implement state-of-the-art user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with architects/product team to comprehend functional challenges, prototype new ideas and technologies, and help to create innovative UX solutions.
- Design and architect a modern, highly responsive web-based user interface for Microservices-based web applications.
- Leverage the latest tools and techniques of web UI/UX Development spectrum.
- Build reusable components and Front-End libraries for future use.
- Create functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as needed.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Coordinate with Back End developers in the process of building the RESTful API.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology/Information Systems.
- 5-7 years of experience in building and supporting web-based applications using React.js.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Good understanding of AJAX, TypeScript, JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Extensive experience building rich client experiences (web/mobile and/or desktop) from the ground up with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML from creative mockups.
- Experience in Agile development with Sprint Cycles and CICD Process.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and JSON.
- Knowledge regarding various aspects of Single Page Applications using React is a must.
- Experience with cross-browser development and responsive web design.
- Experience consuming REST APIs with OAuth2 security.
- Good knowledge of software design patterns and software engineering best practices.
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and be a team player.
