Supervises a target size team of 10 or more IT employees that are responsible for the development and delivery of IT related work relative to the technical sub families including Agile, Application Design and Programming, Business Support, Database, Systems Architecture and Engineering, Systems Technical Support, and Technical Disciplines of Software Delivery Proj/Prog Mgmt and Technology Security.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working closely with departments and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Provides strategic technical direction and assists in the development of UI and Content Management platform roadmap in alignment with business needs.
  • Acts as main contact with other organizations to identify and quantify business issues associated with specific projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum/Kanban development team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence team members, peers, and senior management.
  • Escalation and conflict management, strong customer interfacing skills.
  • Hiring ability and ability to provide technical leadership to teams.
  • Mentor and guide team members, providing regular feedback and promoting professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, architecture, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project delivery by helping the team to remove impediments.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Establish and maintain engineering best practices, processes, and standards for the team.
  • Monitor project progress and make data-driven decisions to adjust priorities, resources, or timelines as needed.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve team efficiency and product quality.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive leadership in a timely manner.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Determine feasibility and scalability of Content Management Platforms to solve business needs, interacting with business and product owners in order to define technical solutions.

Job Contribution:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in working in Engineering or Development roles (Full Stack Development).
  • 8+ years of experience in architecture, design of systems, or software development.
  • 6+ years of experience working with Content Management platform like teamsite, AEM, Sanity.io etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership capacity - coaching and mentoring engineers, developers.
  • 3+ years of experience in build and CICD technologies: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus or Sonar.
  • 3+ years of experience in Unit and Function testing using Junit, Spock, Mockito/JMock, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI or Postman.
  • 4+ years of experience building web applications using HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS3, React, Node.js, Next.js.
  • 2+ years of experience working with relevant/related front-end tools such as Webpack, Yarn, Jest, Gulp.
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef or Terraform.

Keywords:

Salary Range: $155,400.00 - $261,100.00
