The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media and have a knack for creating engaging content. This role will involve managing our social media platforms, designing eye-catching graphics, and supporting various marketing initiatives.Description of Primary Duties Responsibilities:Social Media Management: Create and curate engaging content for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).Content Creation: Develop high-quality social media graphics and other print materials.Graphic Design: Design visually appealing graphics and presentations using design tools like Canva.Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials. Minimum Acceptable Qualifications Qualifications:Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion for creativity and a keen eye for detail.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field or relevant experience is preferred.Additional QualificationsSpecial Instructions to Applicants This position is 10-20 hours per week.EO/AA and Diversity Statement Non-Discrimination StatementMissouri State University is a community of people with respect for diversity.
