Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names, such as Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, CeCe, 1.state and Parker. _____________________________________________________________________________________ JOB DESCRIPTION: Unique opportunity for an experienced Sweater Technical Designer to work in a creative environment and grow with the design team. Responsibilities: Collaborates with Sweater design team to understand the design concept/ vision. Help set-up & release tech packs with development specs based on design references. Manage with proto fittings when needed and help relay fit comments to factories. Manage tech packs throughout the development process through pass-off to production Help with technical follow up through production. Daily communication with teams and overseas factories Requirements 2-5 years
of sweater technical design experience within the apparel industry. Strong knowledge in sweater construction, finishing required. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) Highly organized Leverages strong understanding of garment engineering, apparel factory operations. Models ability to multi-task and adapt to change. Proven ability to independently, consistently and appropriately manage risk at all stages of product development. Ability to manage and follow through on a task from start to finish within a specified timeline without supervision. A trained eye for basic design aesthetic details. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Illustrator The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience between $60,000-$75,000.
