Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in strengthening Siddons-Martin's brand presence within the emergency services community. This Houston-based individual will be responsible for documenting and promoting the excitement around new vehicle deliveries, attending ceremonial events, and managing the creation and scheduling of engaging social media content. Primary responsibilities will be based in the Houston area, but the role includes occasional travel (approximately 20%) outside the region.
Duties and Responsibilities Content Creation & Photography:
Visit fire stations and EMS facilities to photograph new fire apparatuses, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles delivered to customers. Event Coverage:
Attend push-in ceremonies, vehicle handover events, and other fire and EMS-related gatherings to capture engaging photos, videos, and content to highlight these moments on social media. Service Center Visits:
Visit Siddons-Martin service centers periodically to generate content that increasesmarketingefforts and highlights our industry-leading service and support capabilities. Customer Testimonial Videos & Video Projects:
Film customer testimonial videos with clients to showcase their experiences with our products and services. Additionally, manage and execute other small video projects to supportmarketinginitiatives. Social Media Management:
Develop, curate, and schedule content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to enhance community engagement and brand visibility. MarketingSupport:
Collaborate with themarketingteam to ensure all regional activities and events align with broadermarketinggoals and brand strategy. Photography and Videography:
Capture professional grade photos and video content for various company projects Travel Requirements: Travel around the Houston area required. Occasional travel outside of Houston (average 20%) may be required to attend regional events, visit service centers, and generate content at client locations. Qualifications
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability in photography, videography, and video editing skills required. Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools. Ability to travel within the company's territory (seven states) to attend events and visits, including some overnight travel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external customers. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred, not required. Knowledge or experience in the emergency services industry (fire, EMS, or public safety) a plus, not required. Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field highly preferred; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
