Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Videographer position for the College of Business at Oregon State University (OSU).
The Videographer will support the Marketing and Communications (Marcomm) team by creating engaging video content about the College of Business for target audiences. This role works closely with the social media team to produce high-quality videos that align with the College's brand and resonate with target audiences. This role is expected to be in place through end of Spring term 2025 with an opportunity to be continued.
Pay rate for this position is $15.70 per hour.
Position Duties
The Videographer reports to the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications and will support the needs of the Marcomm team and social media team including:
Film & Edit Videos:
Create engaging content promoting campus life, student stories, events around the College and more.
Collaborate:
Work with Marcomm and social media teams to align video content with the College's goals.
Post-Production:
Edit footage, add graphics, and optimize videos for social media platforms.
Event Coverage:
Capture behind-the-scenes footage of campus events and student activities.

*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered "full-time" by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Additional Required Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have experience with video editing software and video production. Must be able to create on-brand and on-trend videos.

- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
- Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
- High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
- Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
- Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
- Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
- Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
