Position Summary:

The Graphic Designer - 3D Artist produces original yet stable 3D designs and artworks to be used in catalogs, ads, flyers, banners, signage, product labels, logos, animations, and GIFs.

Essential Function and Responsibilities:
  • Creates attractive creative 3D pieces based on existing layouts
  • Ensures that deadlines are met according to schedule
  • Maintains visual consistency of the company brands to meet marketing goals
  • Assists in enhancing the visual brand standards and departmental processes
  • Collaborates with team members to meet deadlines
  • Organizes and maintains electronic files and project folders for effective archival and retrieval
  • Partners with Product Managers, Management team, and vendors
  • Complies with company policies and procedures
  • Supports the Company's Safety Programs
  • Acts as an ambassador and champion of the company culture, ethics, and values

Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Market America.

Education & Experience:
  • Two- or four-year degree in Graphic Design or Bachelor of Fine Arts
  • Four years of experience in professional graphic design in print, print production, typography, color and layout, and spot color work
  • Experience in 3D rendering is a must

Computer/Communication Skills:
  • Proficient use of MS Office Products, Adobe Creative Suite, and Mac OSX platform
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Thrives under pressure of deadlines and changing priorities
  • Ability to get along and work with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible
  • Prioritizes and models good communication skills; follows up, timely responses, proactive and positive in approach
  • Above moderate to high levels in reading comprehension, writing, and speaking in English; active listening; attention to detail; critical thinking; creative problem solving; complex problem solving; and judgment.
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive-but is able to recognize and support senior management's preferences and priorities to advance the organization
  • Results and people oriented, with judgment to balance other business considerations
  • Service oriented, but assertive/persuasive.

Travel:
  • Local travel
  • Annual conference related travel

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Long and odd hours particularly around major projects
  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold hot/humid)
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets
  • May require visits to the Warehouse area- where employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, and mild noise levels
  • Regularly required to talk, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop kneel and crouch
  • Raise and lower an object from one level to the another, less than 20 lbs.
  • Good (corrected) eyesight and hand/eye coordination
  • Prolonged computer work at a workstation
