AEG is hiring: Digital Content Producer in Henderson

PRIMARY PURPOSE:The Las Vegas Aces are seeking a Digital Content Producer to join the social media team. This role will be responsible for capturing, editing and programming content around relevant storylines for the organization across various media platforms. The Digital Content Producer will work alongside a team of content professionals. This position requires a highly creative and advanced level of technical skills, as they are responsible for defining and maintaining a consistent look and feel for video coverage of all things Aces. The Digital Content Producer will help ideate content strategies to increase fan engagement and expand the reach of the brand across all social platforms.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for maintaining the brand's visual look for all Aces social video programming
• Provide video coverage at Aces events including games, practices, shootarounds, community events, member events, partnership events and other Aces related events
• Assist with the creation, conception, and execution of content to be published across all social media platforms
• Sort, catalogue, and upload content to CMS (Content Management Systems)
• Edit existing content to deliver new and unique pieces to promote engagement across all digital platforms
• Manage and fulfill video content requests for various business needs
• Work with the Director of Social Media to define a cohesive vision for the Aces brand
• Collaborate with the Social Media Strategist to ensure content for monthly social media calendars are met
• Stay up to date and implement the latest content trends
• Participate in league & department meetings to better understand how content can best support Aces and league business objectives
• Manage livestream production across various social media platforms
• Facilitate the upkeep on all production equipment including and not limited to; production set, lighting, camera, tripods, audio devices, and miscellaneous gear

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Three years of experience capturing and editing video for social and digital media platforms preferred
• Strong background in video production along with an understanding of social media strategy
• Demonstrable videography and photography experience

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Valid Nevada driver's license

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Experience working in sports, entertainment, or live events
• Experience with Adobe Creative Applications or comparable programs
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, relating to the Aces' schedule
• Must demonstrate an active use and understanding of digital and social media
• Must illustrate proficiency in analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of content
• Must illustrate both extensive creativity and strong ability for fast-moving social media formatted content
• Knowledge and experience in Corporate Partnership content creation is a plus
• Must show understanding of digital intellectual property
• Maintain professionalism when speaking with athletes and coaches in work settings, special events, and games
• Knowledgeable and passionate about the WNBA, NBA, NCAAWBB and NCAAMBB is a plus

Experience with animation and 3D rendering a plus
