A Cherokee Federal Process Design SME shall have a background in managing government client engagements and supervising contract personnel who interact with senior leadership. The ideal candidate is an analytical and critical thinker, with strong problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Process Design SME: $100,000 - $130,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Process Design SME Responsibilities Include:
  • Process Design and Mapping: Develop and implement process maps that assess both the current and future states of business operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and streamline workflows.
  • Process Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of business processes, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate the understanding of processes for key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to deploy automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and facilitate meetings with executive leadership, department heads, and frontline employees to communicate process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of process strategies with organizational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented processes and automation solutions, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Provide recommendations and adjustments based on feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Process Design SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience OR Master's degree and 4 years of experience with Government clients.
  • Current MBI clearance or the ability to receive one.
  • Strong foundation in continuous improvement methodologies, with knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Is proficient in taking customer and stakeholder requirements and creating process design documents, which are used to create automated processes downstream.
  • Some experience in data analytics to support decision-making and process enhancements.
  • Knowledge of requirements for successful preparation of reports, briefings, memoranda, info and action memos, and presentations.
  • Experience conducting training sessions, workshops, etc., to ensure all staff understand and can effectively use new procedure(s)
  • Has ability to effectively communicate with strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Has excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
  • A Lean Six Sigma certification. Black Belt Certification from an accredited training provider a big plus.
  • Experience in UiPath, Robotic Process Automation, and process design in IT a big plus.
  • Experience providing support to C-Suite executives. Job Type: Full-time Location: Remote
