We’re seeking a Designer for our growing intimates business to design on-trend, commercially viable collections including bras, panties, and shapewear. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance creativity with cost and production requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Create innovative intimate apparel collections, balancing trend-driven designs with cost-efficiency.
  • Print & Color Development: Lead seasonal color palettes and print direction, ensuring designs align with brand aesthetic and commercial goals.
  • Trend Forecasting: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in fabric, silhouettes, and colors, translating insights into designs.
  • Product Sketching & Tech Packs: Develop detailed sketches, mood boards, and tech packs, specifying fabric, trims, and measurements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sourcing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Fit & Samples: Review fit samples and make necessary design revisions based on fittings.
  • Costing & Production: Ensure designs stay within budget and monitor production timelines to meet quality standards.
  • Fast-Paced Workflow: Manage multiple design projects, meeting deadlines and adapting to changes.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on competitors and industry trends to keep designs fresh and competitive.
  • Communication: Present concepts to internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final designs.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of intimate apparel design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to create original prints
  • Experience designing in the off-price or mass retailer market preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and PLM
  • Expertise in silhouettes, garment construction, prints, and color
  • Experience creating tech packs and working with sourcing and production teams
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


Annual salary range starting at $75,000
