Marketing Director Job Description

The Marketing Director will be responsible for building, organizing and managing the marketing programs for Incredible Pizza Company. This position reports to the Executive Vice President, Ashley McGuire.

Skill requirements for this position include:

  • Previous experience in successfully marketing in the restaurant, retail or Family Entertainment industry.
  • A minimum degree of a Bachelors of Science in Marketing.
  • Has a strong understanding of the impact of Social Media on our industry and has a working knowledge of the different ways a marketing team can manage the flow of information in this medium. This would include Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and any platform that communicates guest experiences and expectations.
  • Must understand how websites should be designed and flow for a company to ensure the user sees what we need them to see and can easily navigate for information and purchasing action- strong background and understanding of e-commerce. Must be familiar with Word Press and make changes to the current website as needed.
  • Must have a strong understanding on how to use email marketing to increase guest traffic in our stores. This will include working knowledge on how to manage e-blast media campaigns, lists, and Search Engines so that we are in the "top box" for searches through keywords. Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Trends, and Google Adwords. Excellent at segmenting customers by demographics, and buying journey.
  • Good working knowledge of print media and how it is used in our industry.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate in web-based platforms. Ability to manage multiple CRMs at once and have them connect through APIs.
  • Excellent skills in managing marketing promotions.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Have the skills to build marketing plans for the company and each individual store location. Must be able to keep track of different projects and activities and consistently report progress on "goals vs. actual".
  • Excellent delegation and process control skills.
  • Based on market conditions, willing to change directions with little to no notice. Great ideas don't wait for others to promote. Be willing to step out and make a decision and not be afraid of making a mistake.
Job Expectations
  • This position will be based out of our corporate office location in Springfield Missouri.
  • Must fully understand the Incredible Pizza Company concept and how we use our "Mission Statement" to drive all decisions. Get into our stores, make some pizzas, and host a birthday party. Get to know the management teams and understand the "culture" of IPC.
  • Working with the Executive Team at Incredible Pizza Company, get a historical perspective of what marketing programs we have done in our recent history. What worked and what did not work. We do not want to recreate the wheel and more importantly repeat past mistakes.
  • Creative drive for the website and make changes as needed.
  • Control Google Ads and monitor money spent vs view and clicks.
  • Work within a controlled budget for marketing.
  • Be the Website/Social Media Director, implement eBlast marketing campaigns for the stores on a weekly basis.
  • Get IPC connected with other websites that promote family fun, travel, tours etc.
  • Assist the Call Center/Sales Agents in creating marketing collateral materials both printed and digital to assist them in securing potential leads.
  • Assist the operations team in creating impactful marketing materials to promote our Birthday Party programs. This would include but not be limited to print media, social media, website and email marketing.
  • Meet weekly with CEO of Incredible Pizza Company to review marketing and critique.
