Description Position Overview
This role focuses on strategic social media management, data-driven optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional results for some of the world's leading entertainment brands, and will be partially dedicated to an exciting new AOR.
The Social Media Manager will oversee social media operations, develop platform-specific strategies, and drive measurable engagement across all current and emerging social platforms. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on social media management to ensure our clients' social presence aligns with their broader marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead social media strategy development and execution for multiple entertainment clients
Develop and implement platform-specific strategies for Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, and Reddit that maximize native engagement and leverage each platform's unique features
Create comprehensive performance reports tracking key metrics including engagement rates, reach/impressions, video views, and community growth
Provide strategic recommendations and optimization plans based on performance data and industry benchmarks
Monitor and analyze cultural trends, breaking news, and platform updates to inform content strategy and identify opportunities
Oversee and manage client social media accounts, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies and objectives
Create and manage editorial calendars that support brand and campaign initiatives
Execute content publishing across social platforms, maintaining consistent brand voice and engagement standards
Present strategies and performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders
Manage and work alongside Strategy Coordinators to ensure seamless content scheduling and publication
Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing
Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies
Strong analytical skills with experience in social media metrics and reporting
Demonstrated expertise across major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Reddit)
Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (Sprout, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite)
Excellence in project management and meeting deadlines
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience presenting to clients and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to build and grow social media audiences
Deep understanding of social media best practices and platform-specific requirements
Location and Salary
This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $80,000-$117,500, depending on experience. We offer employees the flexibility to work from home Monday through Friday. There will be occasions when in-office presence, at either our Echo Park HQ or a client’s office, is required based on the needs of specific accounts.
