We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to join our Raleigh, NC, team. This role involves supporting the Public Relations department in managing client accounts, coordinating events, and crafting effective communication strategies. • Assist in planning and executing public relations campaigns.
• Write and edit press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
• Coordinate and schedule media interviews and appearances.
• Support event planning and logistics for public and private events.
• Maintain and update media contact databases.
• Research and monitor industry trends and client competitors.
• Track and measure campaign performance and prepare reports.
• Provide administrative support to the Public Relations team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of media relations and public relations best practices.
• Previous experience in PR or related fields is a plus.
