As a Fab 4 YE SEM Technician at Micron, you will focus on the operation and minor maintenance of SEMs and Dual Beams (FIB/SEM), sample preparation for SEM /Dual Beam that includes safe operation of the acid hood, sputter coaters, ion millers, UV cleaners, March/Oxford etchers, SELA (micro-cleaving tool), CMP, Nikon Optiphot and Zeiss Microtronics optical microscopes. Perform physical failure analysis using SEM, FIB, de-layering, and a keen eye for detail. In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: + Provide SEM support for FAB 4 YE part types (NAND, DRAM, and EM) + Communicate with part type engineers regarding requests, priorities, and/or general communications regarding the queue, etc. + Communicate with Micron team members and supplier representatives at all levels regarding tool issues, requests, support items, etc. Qualified candidates for this position will have: + Good understanding of FAB process steps: wet etch, dry etch, PVD, ALD, CMP, etc. + Ability to prioritize and work independently + Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) + Ability to analyze problems and provide resolution + Experience in semiconductor physical failure analysis preferred but not required + PC skills to include M.S.
