Position Summary
Responsible for the internal and external event production utilizing audiovisual technology for various events serviced by Five-Star AudioVisual. This includes participating in onsite visits by prospective clients, solicitation of new business, administrate duties, and supervising execution to ensure that our customers receive the proper equipment needed to accomplish their objectives and realize their vision.
At the Executive level, Experiential Event Producers will also be responsible for the success of assigned property EEPs who will report to the Executive during the training and development process. Responsibilities will include staff training, process setup and development, report generation and review, as well as development of communication channels for EEPs and Five-Star clients. Will report to the Vice President of Hospitality Partnerships and assigned Hotel Director.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Train assigned new Directors, Assistant Directors, and Event Producers for new properties. Training topics include but are not limited to: Sales Process, Experiential Production Techniques, CRM use, Pricing Strategies, Quotations, Property and Client Communication, Public Relations, Forecasting.
- Maximizes revenues by utilizing a consultation process with clients and guests. Will lead the development of assigned property staff rev max strategies.
- Communicate by telephone and written correspondence to determine the clients needs.
- Works closely with hotel sales staff and others to develop relationships for upcoming conventions and meetings.
- For new property openings, Executive Event Producer will set up sales process and tools, develop communication channels, gain access to booking software and reports.
- Works closely with the audiovisual team members when consulting with clients on selection, reservation, and acquisition of audiovisual equipment and services
- Uses customized meeting diagrams and Five-Star Audio Visuals computerized billing system and marketing materials to create and deliver sales presentations detailing equipment, service prices and labor quotations.
- Develops and enhances relationship with hotel sales and convention services personnel. Often serves as the main Five-Star representative at the groups arrival.
- Negotiate directly with clients when necessary on costs to ensure that no audiovisual business is lost due to pricing.
- Minimizes service challenges through advance client contract consulting, anticipating needs, and consulting with operations team.
- Produce and consult clients on event materials in accordance with guest needs and goals including, marketing, directional signage, presentation materials, selection of environment enhancements to improve ROI.
- Supervise execution to ensure final product meets the expectations of Five-Star and the Client.
- Establish and maintain CRM and sales files to track all future bookings.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with VIP/repeat hotel clients.
- Attends site inspections and pre-and post-event meetings.
- Create and review final billing directly with client and obtain approval of all audiovisual charges.
- Follow up with all clients through thank you letters and post event service evaluations.
- Follow and act in accordance with all company rules and policies in regard to general operation of the company, including but not limited to sales and promotional policies, procedures and specific company rules
- Maintaining a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics and image of self
Other Duties

Qualifications
- Direct experience with related customer service responsibilities. Proven experience in developing positive customer relationships and seeking ways to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in high volume environment.
- Possesses the skills and knowledge necessary to capture new business for the organization by actively researching client organizations through a variety of resources.
- Proactively listens and clarifies customers needs and continually following up in meeting customers needs while maximizing profits.
- Understands the local market and demonstrates the ability to handle objections and competition.

Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the audiovisual industry
- Advanced knowledge and experience with audiovisual setups and strikes
- Exceptional customer service or hospitality experience required
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required to operate company vehicle
- Certification in audiovisual technology or related courses (preferred)

- Video - LCD, LED, projectors, screens, monitors, etc.
- Lighting - Decor, traditional and intelligent fixtures, basic lighting kits, stage lighting, etc.
