Position: L1 Digital/Broadcast Operator
Length: 1-year annually renewing contract
Pay Rate: $17-18/hr
Location: Onsite- Stamford, CT
Schedule: Full 40hr work weeks that are split 4, 10hr days
Technicians run on 3-month rotational shifts that change based on NBC's upcoming quarterly broadcasts
Interview Process: 1-2 rounds with hiring managers
Must Haves: 1+ years of experience in working on live broadcasts Prior experience with L1 monitoring: supporting digital video workflows and escalations Prior experience with digital encoder setup of event-based streaming Experience working with engineering to monitor traditional and digital signal transmission Experience working on live broadcasts Exposure to working within a Master Control environment
Day to Day: Insight Global is hiring for an L1 Digital/Broadcast Operator to sit onsite here in Stamford, CT for a large, streaming & multimedia company. This person will work 4 10-hour shifts with 3-month rotation of shifts. This person will be responsible for single live event broadcast coverage (real-time monitoring) and L1 support. Responsibilities include monitoring and supporting digital video workflows, inserting triggers into live streams (ex. ads or polls), communicating with production teams to ensure high-quality broadcasts, working with engineering to monitor both traditional and digital signal transmission and supporting VOD (video on demand. Linear, and live workflows.
