About the role

The Photo & Content Creative Director will work closely with the Vice-President of Creative Marketing, as well as Editorial and Creative Directors in concepting and executing compelling seasonal go-to-market campaigns. Collaborates with Merchandising, Brand Strategy, Design, Copy and Social partners to develop seasonal content and deliverables that will engage the customer with brand-right content and support business and product strategies. Executes shoots across brand campaign, video, ecomm, and laydowns. Has a deep knowledge of both location and studio shoot execution, photographers, videographers and content creators. Displays a deep understanding of composition and lighting, seasonal fashion, trend and storytelling.

The impact you can have
  • Develop strategies for assigned projects to support business plans in collaboration with Marketing Vice President
  • Attend assigned pre-shoot planning meetings collaborating with Merchants and Content partners.
  • Collaborate with Producers to source appropriate talent for assigned shoot crews and cast. Determines all locations and set needs.
  • Function as "Director" on set of assigned projects.
  • Review footage selection with Creative Leadership.
  • Collaborate with Producer on selecting freelance and vendors for specialized work as needed.
  • Apply a solid aesthetic "eye" to convey brand, strategy, and editorial messages in unique and innovative ways.
  • Create creative asset decks and delivers seasonal assets to executional creative team each month
  • Oversees image retouching for Brand and PDP shoots.
  • Manages and partners on social content and shoot planning and capture
You'll bring to the role
  • Education Level: 4-Year Bachelors Degree
  • Years of Experience: 8+
  • Experience with specialty retail apparel preferred.
  • Demonstrated passion and expertise in photography and video content creation-including editorial, fashion, ecomm, and socially-oriented content with strong aesthetic eye
  • Ability to lead large shoot crews and juggle tasks
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptually, with omni-channel knowledge
  • Proven track record of establishing a brand's visual aesthetics and photo style
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership teams
  • Ability to incorporate customer research and business strategy into creative solutions
  • Solid skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva

This position works in a hybrid model, with three days per week worked in the New Albany, OH location and two days per week worked remotely.
