WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Simpli.fi is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Manager of Content Marketing for its Marketing team. Ideal candidates possess strong organizational, communication, writing, technical, and analytical skills. We are looking for a creative and innovative writer passionate about developing world-class B2B content, specifically in the AdTech industry.

The Senior Manager of Content Marketing role will become a part of our current content team as our requirements for content creation continue to grow. The team is responsible for developing short-form and long-tailed marketing content, such as blogs, whitepapers, thought leadership pieces, newsletters, and more. The content team is also focused on growth of our stable of video and podcast content. They will participate in the management of SEO for content from website to blogs and will be involved in driving improved SEO performance in collaboration with our SEO partner. This individual will be an integral part of our expanding Marketing team, possessing the ability to learn quickly and make an immediate impact.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Primary activities include, but are not limited to: creation and delivery of company blog posts, participating in corporate content ideation, long-tail content creation (i.e., guides, whitepapers, reports, etc.), maintaining consistent reporting on key metrics from the company website, video and podcast content creation, corporate content review and proofreading from team members, SEO improvement, and handling one-off content projects.

  • Create and execute blog content for publishing that generates interest in Simpli.fi and positions the organization as a thought leader in the AdTech industry
  • Collaborate with various team members on design, social, and SEO elements for blog development
  • Participate in content ideation in the developing and maintaining of an annual content calendar that recognizes market/product influences
  • Support the development of long-tailed pieces of content, as needed (i.e., guides, white papers, reports)
  • Maintain consistent reporting on website metrics using Google Analytics and Looker Data Studio
  • Conduct content review and proofreading from team members within the Marketing department, as well as other departments as needed
  • Draft copy for one-off content projects and coordinated go-to-market strategy pushes for various blogs, articles, social media, the company website, and more
  • Understand the needs of agencies, brand advertisers, and media companies, and how Simpli.fi’s solutions address them
  • Translate technical concepts into corporate-facing and understandable messaging with a focus on the audience for each piece of content
  • Uphold strong knowledge of the latest practices and strategies in digital media
YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Marketing or Communications, and 5 years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with a keen eye for grammar and spelling
  • Experience working with AdTech companies, advertising agencies, and/or related companies preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the online advertising industry, digital media trends, and ad tech
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Looker Data Studio, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Monday.com (or a related workflow management software)
  • Resourceful, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Highly motivated to excel with a strong work ethic and initiative
