Oxford Solutions currently has a client seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join their team. As a Piping Designer, you will be contributing to the development of complex piping systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed piping designs, layouts, and drawings using 3D modeling software such as Smartplant, AutoPlant, and CadWorx.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior designers to create efficient and cost-effective piping solutions.
• Ensure designs adhere to project objectives, technical guidelines, and safety standards.
• Conduct site visits and participate in design reviews to verify constructability and identify potential issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate design activities and resolve technical queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in piping design within an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in 3D piping design software including Smartplant, AutoPlant, and/or CadWorx.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).
• Proven track record of delivering piping design projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of industrial piping systems and components.
• Experience in steel, chemical, petrochemical, or power generation industries preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in design work.
• Willingness to learn and be mentored by senior designers and engineers.
