Asana, Inc. seeks a Product Designer for its New York, NY location (40% Telecommuting permitted). Duties: Leverage design abilities to effect visual and interaction design, working on features that impact how executives and teams interpret and make key decisions from all inputs. Work on features that are key business drivers for Executives, Managers and Teams, developing a system and strategy for how customers can model the information into data that powers all aspects of customers’ business, decision-making, and future plans. Conduct and collaborate on user research efforts to understand the needs, pain points, and opportunities related to Reporting. Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and interaction designs to visualize and test potential solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and other designers, to ensure that designs are feasible and are implemented accurately, while also advocating for user-centered design decisions. Lead design reviews and gather feedback from stakeholders, users, and teammates. Iterate on designs based on this feedback and quantitative data from A/B testing or analytics. Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Graphic/Digital Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction or a closely related discipline and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or as a Product Designer, or closely related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the above positions. Must have demonstrated experience in the following: Defining design vision ensuring it aligns with the overall product strategy and user needs; Creating visual representations of product's user interface and experience using prototyping tools including Figma; Applying user research, testing, and data analysis to inform product and design direction and improve user experience; Utilizing visual and UI design principles to create user-friendly and accessible user interfaces; Collaborating with cross functional partners to identify business and user problems, gather insights to set strategy and establish design vision. 40 hours/week; Salary: $182,000 - $232,000/year.
