Responsibilities
The Graphic Designer supports the Sponsor's initiative to create a marketing strategy and organizational brand that better communicates the service offerings across the IC. The Graphic Designer also supports a Sponsor led Customer Engagement Team (CET) focusing on formalizing customer outreach and communication, identifying growth opportunities, and assessing department impact. Duties include but are not limited to:
Design and develop engaging content for interactive presentations and websites, digital signage systems, displays, posters, exhibits, and graphical displays for the Sponsor, as requested
Prepare, edit, and/or graphically enhance various types of communiques and documentation as requested by the Sponsor
Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials
Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system
Support activities to promote department vision, mission, core values, strategic goals, and objectives based on workforce knowledge, behavior, and organizational goals
Support a Customer Engagement Strategy that includes development, and implementation of a department communication plan that identifies mechanisms to promote and convey the mission and operational initiatives, maximize customer engagement, describe how to monitor and assess outreach activities, and reporting impact
Qualifications
Required:
Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
A Bachelor's degree in an arts discipline with a concentration in Art and Visual Technology or Graphic Design with at least five (5) years of relevant experience
Minimum of three (3) years of graphic design experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign and other graphic design software
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
High level of creativity and innovative design skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and project management skills
Capability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Desired:
Experience with HTML and C++
