OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating and executing all marketing strategies and product development in support of the WCCI, CDM and TDE objectives for increased growth, market awareness, and profitability.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees all aspects of the Marketing Department.
  • Executes discovery meetings with primary stakeholder to confirm event/campaign goals and identifies correct target demographics, data and insights to be utilized for event/campaign execution.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive annual marketing plan for the ministry to include CDM, CDMA, WCCI, and TDE (and all other entities as created).
  • Creation of custom marketing campaign and event strategy for all assigned events and campaigns based on data, insights, and research.
  • Meeting with primary stakeholders to present event/campaign proposal, including visual direction, promotional strategy and event plan to receive final approval before executing.
  • Facilitating all media buys and media relationships for all events and campaigns, including but not limited to radio, television, print, digital, billboard, and social media.
  • Creates all event logistics documents, including but not limited to Event Riders, Rundowns, Run of Shows, Technical Riders, etc.
  • Executes all major event activations domestic and international.
  • Determine strategic objectives and direction as well as create the mechanisms for achieving those objectives.
  • Develop and design new products to provide our customers with teachings in the latest industry formats.
  • Review and approve all broadcast and print advertising
  • Oversee the departmental functions of product development, graphic design, advertising, promotion, market research and data collection.
  • Oversee branding standards for the ministry.
  • Conduct and/or oversee focus groups.
  • Make recommendations to changes in ministry operations, services and functions based on market trend research.
  • Assist departments with marketing collateral and campaigns (e.g. conferences.)
  • Calculate marketing budgets and adjust when necessary.
  • Drive attendance to all events.
  • Analyze event performance and prepare metrics presentation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that marketing deadlines are met and projects are brought to successful conclusions. Serves as the primary point of contact for all print vendors and has the responsibility of obtaining ministry quotes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
  • BA/BS degree required; Marketing and/or Advertising degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 3+ years' experience in project management or scheduling.
  • 3+ years' experience supervising a team
  • 5 years' experience in marketing or advertising field
  • Print Industry knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of modern office practices, time management, and procedures, including business correspondence, record keeping and filing systems, and office equipment.
  • Knowledge of principals of managing and coordinating a variety of program/project functions efficiently.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrates advance proficiency in Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, scheduling software, and project management software.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented individual who accepts work assignments and ensures follow-through to completion.
  • Demonstrates success prioritizing and completing multiple projects.

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:
  • Strong proficiency in all MS Office products, including Word, Access, and Outlook; Excel is required.
