A Brief Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination, scheduling and workflow of all department projects. S/he acts as a liaison between the all Marketing/PR (MPR) teams requesting deliverables. He/she works cross-functionally with Creative, Production, Account Management, Public Relations and Digital teams to own the full life-cycle of the project assigned. S/he helps create and manage project timelines and provides ongoing support to the core team to ensure that all projects are delivered on schedule and successfully executed.
The Project Manager must have prior experience managing multi-channel campaigns and the end-to-end creative/marketing job process from kick-off to completion of creative or agreed upon deliverable, including, but not limited to, print, digital, broadcast, social and video. S/he must be comfortable working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. media agencies or IS) and represent the MPR team confidently. S/he must have superior organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines and tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do
- Manage the end-to-end project process from project kick-off to release/completion of projects ranging from print and digital to video, broadcast and out of home.
- Lead the development of project timelines and facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain the overall project schedule and help with prioritization and clear communication by conducting weekly scheduling meetings with Account Management team and other key stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and internal reviews, capturing key ideas, decisions, issues, and action items in meeting notes.
- Facilitate and coordinate the delivery of all information and assets needed to begin the project execution process.
- Populate the creative/production resources allocation schedule to ensure the successful development and delivery of multiple projects, on time.
- Actively participate in project kick-offs and design reviews to ensure that creative is aligning with project objectives.
- In partnership with the Account Management and Creative/Digital Teams, interpret client edits and feedback to determine adjustments in timelines and final reviews.
- Maintain a customer-first attitude with the understanding that clear, concise and timely communication is of the utmost importance in building trust in any cross-functional relationship.
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- At least three (3) years prior experience in project management/account management Required
- Experienced working within a Project Management system. (Required proficiency)
- Self-motivated, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. (Required proficiency)
- Extremely organized with an eye for detail. (Required proficiency)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required proficiency)
- Experience at major design firms / agencies a plus. (Required proficiency)
- Experience with multi-media channels and creative development (Required proficiency)
