What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee $1.5 - $2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
- Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects, working closely with top executives
- Generate business revenue by expanding the scope of work or introducing new services to existing clients
- Manage, mentor, and develop staff while promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Represent the employer and key clients at high-level industry events and conferences
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
- Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors
- Extensive experience in writing and editing for various print and online communications media
- Demonstrated experience in managing a comprehensive strategic communications and marketing program
