Location 100% Remote. We hire anywhere within the U.S. Position We're seeking a talented Mobile UI/UX Designer to help shape the future of music creation on mobile devices. This role combines creative design expertise with a deep understanding of mobile user experience to make complex audio technology accessible and engaging for musicians and creators. As mobile becomes an increasingly critical platform for music creation, this position will be instrumental in developing intuitive interfaces that empower users to achieve professional-quality results. As a member of our design team, the Mobile UI/UX Designer will report to the Creative Director and work closely with our development team to bring designs from concept to reality. The ideal candidate should have a passion for both design and music, with the ability to bridge the gap between sophisticated audio technology and user-friendly mobile experiences. This role requires someone who can think strategically about user needs while executing with pixel-perfect precision. Responsibilities Collaborate in real-time with a small, agile development team to design a user-friendly mobile app interface Translate complex audio editing and recording functionalities into a simple, engaging user experience Create and iterate on wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to refine design concepts Ensure consistency in the visual language of the app, adhering to brand guidelines Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies in mobile design, particularly for iOS Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and stakeholders Preferred Experience and Qualifications Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app designs, preferably iOS Exceptional Figma skills with experience building design systems Strong understanding of social media UX Experience with music + recording and editing software Knowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines Experience working in a collaborative team and directly with developers for implementation of designs Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate your design decisions A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively Bonus Points: Experience building apps for Android Strong background in music app development or passion for music technology Proficiency in Animation for UI Experience with or understanding of music products and audio software Familiarity with the challenges faced by artists and musicians in recording and editing audio About Us Antares Audio Technologies is the leader in vocal enhancement software and maker of Auto-Tune, the best known brand in the music technology industry. Compensation & Benefits $110,000-$140,000 annually Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience. Compensation ranges are established using national benchmarking data and apply across all geographic locations within the United States.
