Bring fresh and fun ideas to our social media team while holding the responsibility of filming, photographing, editing and designing posts for Peter Millar's social media channels including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. We value attention to detail, high-quality work and robust editing skills. Works collaboratively with Creative, Marketing and E-Commerce teams to tell an engaging brand story that is relatable to Peter Millar followers.
This internship is only for graduating seniors in May 2025.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to generate unique social media ideas and storylines that align with marketing initiatives and brand standards.
- Attend events for real-time photo and video content capture, working closely with models, partners and ambassadors of the brand. Same-day turnaround editing is sometimes necessary.
- Handle many aspects of video production, including camera operation, lighting, sound, motion graphics, and editing.
- Edit captured photo and video into engaging social media content pieces that are unique to each channel and their nuances. This includes formatting the content in different sizes.
- Ability to shoot content with anything from a phone to a cinematic camera and use an editing software such as Adobe Premiere to produce the different content types.
- Assist in keeping the visual aesthetic of Peter Millar's content consistent and up to brand standards while pushing the boundaries of what is right for the brand and the platform.
- Proactively stay up-to-date on the social scene and trends happening within our social platforms, as well as any platforms on the horizon.
- Ability to speak to social media KPIs and answer questions related to metrics and best practices.
- Organize all assets in a system that is easily searchable and accessible.
- Strong knowledge and interest in lifestyle and fashion brands.

- Understand the difference between organic social and paid social.
- High-level understanding of TikTok.
- Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs.
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills and on-the-go thinking
- Demonstrates proactive, "can-do" attitude and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and platforms / communities
- Active daily life in digital and social media, very digitally savvy, passionate about fashion and social
- Must be a graduating senior in 2025
- Knowledge of luxury apparel industry and the golf industry preferred
