Position Summary:
Retouches and prepares photographic imagery to display in a variety of published mediums. Silhouettes product, completes intermediate level retouch, creates clipping paths, shapes product, color corrects to "pleasing" and "critical" standards, runs and creates essential actions, and masks product using Adobe Photoshop as a tool while following a provided process.

Key Accountabilities and Essential Functions:
- Possess a production mindset with a focus on repeatability and consistency.
- Meet quality, accuracy, and output goals set by Post Management and clients' style guides.
- Perform quality control and create specified deliverable files before items are posted to the server.
- Complete projected hours and update time tracker daily within specific job spreadsheet.
- Demonstrate independence and self-discipline in planning daily assignments by comparing internal and external due dates against workload.
- Submit all company forms and time off requests by their deadlines.
- Ask for additional resources in time to meet deadlines if assigned resources aren't sufficient.
- Be open to training and mentoring Post Operators at levels 1 and 2.
- Perform additional company duties, as assigned by Post Management.
Technical Requirements:
- 2 years of critical color experience matching client-designated color references and the ability to maintain color standards across multiple images where requested.
- Intermediate knowledge of the MacOS operating system and be able to perform some troubleshooting.
- High-level expertise in Adobe Photoshop for retouching, pathing, blending modes, alpha masks, color correction and adjustments, creation, and execution of actions.
- Proficient in Adobe Bridge, Acrobat, and Illustrator.
- Understand how to access and navigate file servers and web-based data management tools.
- Perform and pass the retouching test using a tablet and stylus.
- Understand different file formats and color profiles needed to work on and deliver files.
- High-level expertise in form and figure when shaping products.
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant experience in high-volume digital image post-production workflows with a keen eye for color required.
- An extensive portfolio of retouching and video editing examples demonstrating superior creative judgment and accuracy.
- A high school diploma or equivalent with a 2-year college degree or equivalent.
- Proficient in basic math skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Availability for overtime during seasonal rushes.
Compensation:
- The salary range for this full-time position is $70K -$80K + commission, commensurate with experience and skills.
