The Creative Packaging Designer plays a key role in the development and execution of innovative, visually impactful packaging design for a wide range of primary and secondary fragrance components. This position requires a strong ability to design within established budgets, adhere to postproduction timelines, and independently manage the creative process from concept to completion. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, values feedback, and is able to develop creative solutions to ensure the success of each project.
This role directly supports the VP of Creative and works closely with Brand Marketing, Engineering, and other cross-functional support teams.
This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.
Responsibilities : Collaborate with creative leadership to define and maintain brand aesthetics through packaging design and art direction Stay up to date with industry trends, market data, and emerging marketing techniques to ensure design relevance and innovation Consult with the brand and Marketing team to understand project goals and artistic vision, offering expert guidance on design style and direction Oversee the creation and execution of cohesive visual concepts for packaging designs, ensuring alignment with project objectives Establish clear timelines for design projects and ensure all milestones are met on time Present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and adjustments as necessary to gain approval
Required Education/Experience: 4+ years of relevant creative design experience within Fragrance, Beauty or CPG industries Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
Required Qualifications : Skilled in pre- and post-production processes for printed packaging Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; 3D rendering skills are a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-sufficiency and initiative Strong project management skills, with the ability to efficiently coordinate multiple projects across various departments Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent time management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Versatility and creativity in working across different artistic mediums
