POSITION: Director of Marketing
POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Director of Marketing to lead and elevate Cross Street's brand strategy, with a strong focus on digital marketing expertise and analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for running and growing a team of talented marketing professionals while developing and executing a comprehensive brand strategy that resonates with our target audiences, drives engagement, and supports the company's business objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Team Leadership & Development: ○ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with brand goals while fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration. ○ Guide team members in developing marketing materials that reflect our brand essence and provide exceptional value to clients.
2. Brand Strategy Development: ○ Lead the creation and execution of a data-driven brand strategy that aligns with Cross Street's vision, business objectives, and market positioning. ○ Conduct thorough market research, leveraging both traditional and digital tools, to ensure the brand resonates with our target audience and remains competitive.
3. Brand Positioning & Messaging: ○ Create clear, compelling brand messaging that reflects Cross Street’s values and mission across all digital and offline channels. ○ Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across websites, email campaigns, digital ads, social media, and other customer touchpoints.
4. Digital Marketing Expertise: ○ Develop and implement integrated digital marketing campaigns across channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and paid advertising. ○ Optimize digital performance through data-driven insights, utilizing tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and social media analytics platforms. ○ Keep up-to-date with digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to continually innovate and enhance our online presence.
5. Campaign Management & Analytics: ○ Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of brand campaigns, continuously refining them for better performance and ROI. ○ Use analytics to assess the success of digital and traditional campaigns, providing clear reports to leadership, and making data-driven adjustments. ○ Establish and track KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives, focusing on metrics like brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
6. Innovation in Systems and Processes: ○ Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge marketing systems and technologies to streamline operations and improve marketing performance. ○ Leverage automation and data analytics tools to enhance lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention strategies.
7. Vendor & Agency Management: ○ Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and freelance resources to support digital marketing initiatives, ensuring they meet performance expectations, timelines, and budget constraints. ○ Oversee the selection, onboarding, and performance tracking of third-party vendors and agencies to ensure alignment with Cross Street’s brand and business goals.
8. Stakeholder Collaboration: ○ Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with overall business objectives and growth plans. ○ Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, product, customer service) to ensure cohesive execution of marketing strategies across all touchpoints.
9. Client Relationship Management ○ Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored marketing strategies that drive mutual growth. ○ Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, ensuring exceptional service, regular updates, and prompt resolution of any issues or concerns. ○ Track client satisfaction, gathering feedback to refine strategies and improve services, while ensuring long-term client retention and loyalty. ○ Collaborating with the team to enhance, repackage, and optimize our reporting packages to better serve our clients' needs.

Performance Metrics & Reporting: ○ Set clear KPIs for brand performance and campaign effectiveness, using both quantitative and qualitative data to assess outcomes. ○ Present regular performance reports to executive leadership, recommending actionable insights and improvements based on analytics.

Trend Monitoring & Market Insights: ○ Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics, especially in the digital space, to stay ahead of the curve. ○ Leverage market insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in marketing and branding efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: ● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. ● 7+ years of experience in marketing with a focus on digital marketing, brand strategy, and analytics. ● Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills with a creative, strategic mindset. ● Proven track record of executing data-driven marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results. ● Strong expertise in digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, etc.) and tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush, etc.). ● Solid understanding of analytics tools and methodologies for tracking digital performance and adjusting strategies accordingly. ● Experience in vendor management, working with external agencies and contractors to achieve marketing goals. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an ability to turn data into actionable insights.
